Monae Findley is a Broadcast Reporting major at Point Park University. Her passion has always been within the industry of Broadcasting, since she was a little girl growing up in Kingston, Jamaica.

She serves in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as an E-4 Specialist, always serving her country the best way she can.

 

Crowned Miss Black Pennsylvania 2019, gave her the opportunity to push the envelop and help young African- American teens and young adults.

She is a lover of the Arts, Monae danced and performed most of her life. Competed with the Point Park University's Cheer and Dance team.

 

Philantropist at heart, she created an organization called 'The Point Closet' that collects clothes and give it back to students for free. 

 

Her first on-air experience started at Gateway Senior High School where she was given the opportunity to Co-Anchor the morning news show.

 

She continuously works on her craft and develops a real determined mindset to learn everything she can, while pushing herself to be better and expand her potential as a well-rounded News Anchor/ Field Reporter.
